Here’s another one for you then …(we can’t have you slacking!!)

Suspect this is not a TablePress issue at all, but getting the (infamous) HTML error (0 x 0) problem, intermittently, when inserting images into tables. Uploading via Add Media in posts seems to work OK.

Sorry to give you a head ache …

    Hi,

where exactly are you getting this? I’m not really sure what you are talking about here…
    Can I see this somewhere?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,
Sorry – I didn’t explain that at all well. Does a couple of screenshots help? I’ve mailed them to you.

    Hi,

ah, thanks for those screenshots. Now I get it.

Your initial assumption is correct though. This is not something that has to do with TablePress, as it just uses the existing (old version of the) Media Library of WordPress, and does not deal with the direct upload in any way.

Can you maybe upload the images via the new “Add Media” button on a post, and then just select the uploaded images from the Media Library in TablePress?

    Tobias

    Hi,
I shouldn’t have even suggested that it might be a TablePress problem! As you say, it’s a WordPress media upload issue to which there doesn’t seem to be a definitive solution.
Your suggested workaround works just fine though, so I’ll run with that for now at least.
No more head aches for now, I promise!

    Many, many thanks

    Hi,

    you are very welcome!
Sorry to hear that you are affected by this!

For the future, I’m working on using the new Media Manager in TablePress, so maybe that makes that issue obsolete.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
