# Insert Image does not work

 * I watched a video tutorial on inserting an image. It worked exactly as I suspected
   it would/should but my system does not work the same way.
    When I position the
   cursor in the visual mode and click insert image I am asked if I am sure I want
   to leave this page and that my changes will be lost. If I do and I insert an 
   image I get a white screen and am not returned. If I go back to the page I was
   working on there is no image. I am forced to enter the code in the HTML view 
   manually and then it won’t float or wrap correctly.
 * the video shows the insert image bringing up a window without the warning message
   and then perfectly inserting the fully wrapped image into the document.
 * I am using FireFox, could that be the issue? I will re try it all in IE to see
   if that helps.

    It seems that you have not saved the 
   image as you leave the page without saving. What is your site url

 * I add the caption, title, and description.
    Then I click to use as the primary
   image and get a “saving” message. When I exit I click “save all changes” and 
   it does not take me back, I just stay there. The primary photo gets added no 
   problem whether I click save all changes or not.
 * If I then click insert into post it goes away and I get a white screen which 
   just stays there and never does anything. It does not inset the picture nor return
   to the edit page. I have to re-load or select back multiple times but the image
   is there for the primary but not in the document.
 * If I manually enter the html and css code to place the picture it aligns left
   but will not wrap correctly. It starts at the bottom of the image. If I include
   margins in the html view it strips them back out when I switch to visual or if
   I update.

 * As an aside, there is one other thing which may all be related. When I added 
   my first image and selected “use as featured image” all of my <— more—> links
   broke. They used to all say “read more” not they display […] and do not link 
   but the featured image is linked.
 * I tried manually re-adding more links and they do not work. It may be the size
   of the image interferes with the theme’s natural break point, I don’t know.
 * To view an image inserted in a comment you can look at the Tax code section with
   the IRS image. It appears in the post because I added it manually but does not
   wrap from the top down even though it is floated.
