Insert Code

    I’m fairly new at this but I’m not sure exactly where to insert the:
    <?php if ( function_exists('show_nivo_slider') ) { show_nivo_slider(); } ?>

    Do I need to go to my FTP account and add it somewhere?

    I also don’t understand where the WP Nivo Slider Options menu is. I can only go to the setting section and select the category, # of images, etc or go to the plugins menu and activate/edit/deactivate, etc

    I’ve added the posts with thumbnails but I’m stuck without adding the code to the right place.

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes, you would need to apply the code above to the template file(s) where you want the slider to show and use an FTP application to update the theme file(s). I prefer FileZilla for FTP myself.

    The other type of code that WordPress uses is what’s referred to as “shortcode” this is the [shortcode-example] that you would add in the page WYSIWYG editor. I don’t believe this plugin offers the easier shortcode option.
