Inquiry About Double Booking and Car Availability Features

    Hello, I’m interested in using your plugin to manage my car rental agency and would like to ask a couple of questions before proceeding. Specifically, does the plugin handle double bookings (i.e., prevent two users from booking the same car at the same time)? Additionally, can it manage the availability of individual cars? I have one vehicle of each type, so it’s important that the system accurately tracks which car is available and when. Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hi,

    yes, the plugin prevents double bookings, so the same product can’t be booked on overlapping dates. If you set a car as a simple product, only one booking is possible for those dates.

    If you use a variable product and each variation represents a different car, the system will still treat them as one product. Meaning if one variation is booked, all variations will be blocked for that period. Because of this, the most reliable setup is to create each car as its own simple product, ensuring the availability is tracked individually.
