Input Mask Format characters optional ?

    Hi guys,
    I try to put an Input Mask Format for my “N° d’immatriculation” field.
    My wish is to set this format : “aa-9?99999” so I can enter all this possibility :
    NE-3
    NE-53
    NE-553
    NE-5553
    NE-55553
    NE-555553
    The problem is that I can only validate : NE-3 and NE-555553, so I also tried “aa-9?9?9?9?9?9” but it dosen’t work better.
    What should I do ?
