iNove theme: Show post titles only and... (9 posts)

    Hi there!
    I'm using iNove theme for my site: http://fanberries.com/
    (and I'm new to this WordPress thing)

    I was wondering if there's some way to display post titles only. And then, when somebody click the post title displace down until show the post content.

    If that's not possible, forget the "showing post content format".

    (I don't want to use 'read more' as an easier alternative)

    Also, do you know a theme with these characteristics?

    Thanks in advance :)

    I think this is doable, with an edit to your stylesheet in use, we just add the

    display: none;

    to the CSS being called

    (backup your stylesheet before editing)

    .post H2 {
    display: none;
    <==nothing else and remove this line===>
    }

    Good luck!

    Oops - that is the opposite of what you want!

    Yes, you can modify the template used here to create the posts and or use create a new one, but that would take a bit more research...

    actually just add display none to

    .post info

    and

    .post content

    You can test this with Firebug or other browser based inspection tool

    There are several items in each one of those sections, like your comments info and the date and your social buttons...

    Also, use a Child Theme as then when you need to update your theme, your changes will be still be there.

    Worked, but when I go to the post page the content doesn't show up.

    This is due to the design of the theme, you would need to revise what appears on the homepage loop, which is best done using a child theme and then modifying the page template used.
