 * Hi I have two questions regarding my recent install and configuration of W3 Total
   Cache.
 * The first relates to inode usage on my Siteground hosting. I started getting
   emails a couple of hours apart flagging a sudden increase in inode usage. Is
   there a setting to alleviate this issue?
 * I have the plugin set up to cover caching, compression and minifying. On SG Optimiser
   I have turned all these off and kept image optimisation active. With this combination
   I can get the following stats on GTMetrix:
 * Performance Scores
    PageSpeed Score (94%) YSlow Score (80%)
 * Page Details
    Fully Loaded Time 3.5s Total Page Size 1.16MB Requests 42
 * The site feels that bit snappier with better GTMetrx scores than the older configuration
   I had set up with SG Optimiser and WP Performance Score Booster.
    This leads
   me to my second question relating to CloudFlare CDN. I followed a suggestion
   to offload minifying html, css and js to Cloudflare. Straight away the score
   dropped back again behind my SG Optimiser/WP Performance Score Booster config
   mentioned above. Does the config form Cloudflare take a while to take effect?
   Also, dose the html minify mean the same thing as gzip compression?
 * I am on the latest version of WordPress with Divi 4.0.5

 * Hello [@irishetcher](https://wordpress.org/support/users/irishetcher/)
 * Thank you for your inquiry and I am happy to answer your questions.
    If your
   caching method is set to Disk there is a chance of increased inode usage. Limiting
   inode is a way to limit disk usage. This means that you should purge cache regularly
   and clear expired cache. One other thing that you can do is use a memory-based
   caching method such as Redis or Memcached.
 * As for your Cloudflare question, yes it may take up to 48 hours for the Cloudflare
   cache to completely rebuild on CloudFlare’s global network.
    Also, you need to
   make sure not to have minify enabled in both Cloudflare and W3 Total Cache as
   it can cause a conflict of course. And of course, this is a choice but if you
   have better results with W3 Total Cache minify you should switchback. Just a
   suggestion. HTML Minification is the process of removing anything that is not
   essential to the rendering of the page (such as comments or whitespace) and making
   changes that reduce the overall size of the file. GZIP compression is enabled
   server-side and allows for further reduction in the size of your HTML, stylesheets,
   and JavaScript files I hope this helps and please let us know if you have any
   other questions.

 * Thanks Marko,
 * I have taken note of your recommendations. I will report back with updates on
   how I fair with my testing.
