 * I am trying to change the inner page background color, I don’s see an option 
   to do this.

 * If you have not this feature in customizer, you can change it from style.css 
   file. Could you please give us your website link?

    I am not sure where to edit the style.css file, 
   but i will look in the editor.

 * All background color come from same location. Try Appearance>Customize>Background.
