Inline Upload

I am using Inline Upload plug in to allow members to upload documents. Documents upload without issue however they do not show up in my Media Library. I can see them in the file structure of the site but they are not accessible via the WordPress dashboard.
I have also installed a widget that lists documents in the media library allowing members to view and download them.
I do not want members going to the dashboard to access the wp file uploader hence this work around. But at the moment I just cannot get the documents to load in the media library.
Any way around this or have I missed a critical setting.
