Support » Plugin: Hustle - Pop-Ups, Slide-ins and Email Opt-ins » inline stye – left: -1000px

  • Hi,

For some reason it seems like the popup won’t show… but I found that it has inline styles, one of which is left: -1000px;.
I changed it to 0px in the inspector and sure enough it is back on the screen.
I have deactivated all other plugins and reverted to twentyfifteen theme with no luck.

I can’t provide a URL unfortunately as it is in development.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Benbodhi,

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

Checking out the site would be really helpful here since I’m unable to replicate this behaviour on my installation.

Could you grab a screenshot of the page with inspector tool enabled and popup element with that value selected so we could check where it might be coming from?

    Cheers,
    Predrag

    Hey Predrag,
    I’m great thanks.
Here is a link to a copy online for you to look at.
You will see that the popup is down there in the footer of the markup and if you change the -1000px to 0px (inline style), it brings the popup in to the main window.

I’m not sure if it is a setting or what is going on, seems a bit weird.

I have removed everything else, so excuse the absolute disgusting mess of a site 😉

    Hello Benbodhi,

This is weird, I can’t replicate the same on my site. It looks like the PopUp has been customized a lot on your site.

Have you added any custom CSS code to the PopUp or to your theme editor?

If you create a new PopUp, will the same style apply to this one too?

    Please advise,

    Cheers,
    Nastia

    Hey,

I did nothing to it at all, just threw in some sample data on the first popup and chose colours.
    It certainly is strange!
The style affecting it is inline, so that indicated to me that the JS might be messing with it some how.

    Hi Benbodhi,

I don’t see the popup on your site now, did you disable it in the meantime?

Have you tried creating new one as Nastia suggested to see if same thing happens there or if it’s specific to one popup?

    Cheers,
    Predrag
