Inline related field loading everything

    I like the plugin and the options they come with it, the problem for me is that the “Inline related articles field” inside the post editing menus, is requesting every post/page from wordpress.

    That is consuming too much memory and cpu meanwhile sometimes it just completely crashes the chrome tab while editing/updating the posts.

    I would really appreciate to see a quick fix, it can be a “Search field” instead of loading everything from database.

    Thanks for the plugin, beside the thing I’m describing here, everything is great!

    Thanks for the review but I do wish you’d got in touch if you’re having any issues, we pride ourselves on our support and would have looked into it immediately!

    Thinking through the plugin I’m not exactly sure what you refer to though, the only related posts fields on the Edit Post page are the manual ones and there just text fields. Could you possibly provide a bit more info on where you mean exactly and we’ll look into right away? Thanks

    I have the line “If you have the Pro version of the plugin you can access our premium support and email us directly by visiting your account here.” there.

    I am not a pro user so I didn’t send an email directly, also the “WordPress plugin support forum.” link doesn’t work that since it’s linked to a “Not found page”.

    Hi @erapress,

    Thanks for getting back to me. Ahh we didn’t realise the support link was broken, we’ve got a new version coming tomorrow, we’ll make sure it’s fixed for that, thanks for telling us!!

    I’m afraid that isn’t our plugin that adds that dropdown in, it’s a custom Advanced Custom field you’ve got defined, (you can tell by the ID on the select element in your screenshot “acf-field-related_inline_instant_articles”).
