    “Try to adjust size to inline/html content.” is selected and works for a majority of the inline content boxes but some of them are limited to a smaller size (the same dimensions). The content is identical but the inline content container is sizing differently.

  • Hi, for FancyBox to be able to adapt to inline content size, it actually needs a set size of that content. A normal paragraph for example, does not have a set size as it’s supposed to adapt itself to its parent element.

    If you wish for inline content to have a certain width, then you can set that at the level of the wrapper div. Like the example in the FAQ’s has style="width:460px;max-width:100%;" (the max-width is there for extra safety on small screens) :

    <a href="#fancyboxID-1" class="fancybox-inline">Read my inline content</a>

    <div style="display:none" class="fancybox-hidden">
      <div id="fancyboxID-1" class="hentry" style="width:460px;max-width:100%;">
        ...inline content here...
      </div>
    </div>

    Hope that helps 🙂

    Did you look at the screenshots? It needs to auto-size. It is only doing it for some.

    Auto-size only works if there IS a size.

    So make sure your inline content has a size. Look at my example code how to do that. Hint: style="width:460px...

    Did you look at the screenshots though? Why is it different with the exact same content? I’m well aware of how to size it. I’m asking you a specific question and you’re ignoring it.

    I did look at the screen shots and am responding as best as I can without seeing the underlying code. So I’m trying here to help you solve the issue but it seems you’d rather wish to understand what is going on behind the scenes. In that case, I need more information…

    The screenshots show me what you mean but not what is happening.

    What are your exact plugin settings? What is the source code you created for these inline content parts?
