 * Hello, I was getting the error below on pagespeed insights:
 * Remove dead rules from stylesheets and defer the loading of CSS not used for
above-the-fold content to reduce unnecessary bytes consumed by network activity.
   Learn more.
 * It was showing this file: …../wp-content/cache/autoptimize/css/autoptimize……..
   css
 * I enabled Inline “above the fold CSS” option and pasted the content of this css
file. Is it ok and correct what I did? And how it will affect the performance
   of site?

 * I disabled it now because I can’t paste all of the content, why?

 * “inline & defer CSS” is the solution for “render blocking content”, but “dead”
rules refers to “unused CSS” which AO cannot fix as AO does not know what CSS
is used and which is unused. there’s a 3rd party plugin + (paying) service that
integrates with AO that does remove unused CSS though, have look at [https://wordpress.org/plugins/unusedcss/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/unusedcss/)
   maybe?
