    Hello @martje65,

We’re truly sorry to hear that the year-end sales banner caused frustration, and we understand how distracting dashboard notices can feel for some users. That was never our intention, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback with us.

Many of our users actively wait for limited-time events such as Black Friday, New Year, or Year-End Sales to upgrade to the Pro version at a discounted price. Since WordPress is an open-source platform and there is no restriction from WordPress.org on informing users about optional upgrades or promotional offers, displaying a temporary notice in the dashboard is currently the only effective way for us to notify interested users about these discounts.

That said, we fully understand that this may be bothersome for some users. For this reason, we’ve already provided a solution—once the banner is dismissed, it will not appear again. Additionally, as the year-end campaign will be finished today, the banner will be automatically removed and will no longer affect your dashboard experience.

We respect your experience and feedback; however, a one-star review based on a temporary promotional notice may unintentionally give potential users the impression that the plugin does not function as advertised, which is not the case. We’ve addressed the concern, and the notice will be gone.

If you feel comfortable doing so, we would sincerely appreciate it if you could consider updating your review. Your support helps us continue improving the plugin and serving the community better.

Thank you for your understanding and for taking the time to share your thoughts.

    Have a nice day!
