Injection into the top of the body tag

    hi,

    Is injection into the top of the body tag possible yet? I’m trying to inject GTM code right after the <body> tag as per guidelines. the setting ‘before content’ is setting it much lower.

    8 months ago you stated to a similar query, “Hello – Unfortunately we do not have the functionality to add the code inside the body tag. However it is a feature we are working on currently and will be releasing soon with the new update!”

    so I’m just checking back, other than this loving the plugin!

    Hello @kp – Unfortunately, currently there is no way to add snippets right after the body tag. WordPress currently does not have a hook that allows that functionality at present – We are constantly on the lookout, if and when it becomes available.

    We will keep you updated, as soon as we have something that will help tackle this function!

    Hello @kp – On a side note – We would like to inform you that GTM codes work just fine when placed in the header. We use that for our own sites!

    good to know, so I would set both the GTM header code, and the GTM (noscript) to both be in the header via the plugin? just checking I have your usage suggestion correct.

    Correct @kp ! – As long as it is on the site – It gets triggered
