Hi Alderac, thanks for your questions.
The styling is default TimelineJS css, however you should be able to override any CSS with your own as the plugin embeds the Timeline within your site, its not hosted in an iFrame as usual.
Do you have a screenshot or a link where I can see the timeline as it appears, I may be able to assist you further.
I am looking into letting you flag a timeline event as an intro slide.

This is the link to my timeline. How would I embed it? I have created all the events as timeline events (not posts), and it seems to be creating it as its own page. That may be where I’m running into trouble. The rest of the css items (fonts, font sizes, etc.) are working right along with my website.

Hi Alderac,
try putting this shortcode into the post you want the timeline to display in:
[timeline id=”church-history” name=”church-history”]
uiux,
It seems all formatting issues were resolved when I embedded it. That short code worked perfectly. It really responds exactly the way I was describing now. Thanks!
The only question now is that first slide. Could the ‘featured image’ field in the timeline edit screen be used to supply a title card? It does not seem to be using that field at this time, from what I can see.
Thank you for being so responsive. This is really an asset to our website!

Hi Alderac, I have added more fields to allow you to set media for the timeline intro slide.
Once you update this should become available on the timeline edit screen.
Thanks again for your bug finding / suggestions – much appreciated.
Hi Unix,
I am trying to set up the Timeline plugin and have added 2 timeline events. I don’t see them on the page… http://wiscomp.org/milestones-2/ I have added in the shortcode as well. Would be grateful if you could help.
Thanks.
Tina
It is working now. I guess I needed to add 2-3 events for the timeline to show up. 🙂
