Just tried this again, and now it reports “5 hours ago” as the initial time. But I think this is a clue as to the issue here.
We have recently changed to daylight saving time here, so I suspect that the time that SolaST is recording is correct by some measure, but isn’t hooking into each site’s own time zone.

Looking at this further, it seems that the original time of submission of a question is accurate, so that means that get_the_time()
on line 885 of sola-support-tickets\sola-support-tickets.php
is working fine.
The problem seems to be with class=\"sola_response_time\"
on line 943 of the same file. Presumably, that’s taking the time from somewhere other than the timezone set within WordPress. (I have checked, and I do have that set correctly in Settings -> General
.)
