Inheritance of Pods or Templates

I want to create inheritance relationships between Pods or Templates to avoid defining the same fields or template parts more than once.

Is that feature supported in any way?

Parent-Pod (Field1, Field2…)

Child Pod1 Child Pod2 (inherits Field1, Field2…)

or

Child Pod1 Template which contains Field1, Field2 and fields of Child Pod1
