Infinite-Scroll on archive pages

  • A couple of quick questions…

Does infinite-scroll work on archive pages?

When I head to an archive page (tags, categories) it will load the set amount initial load articles (2), but when I scroll to the bottom of the page it won’t load any more articles and I get the “no more posts to display” message, even though I know there are more posts to display.

Is this normal? My code works on the front page. I’m using the exact same selector structure, so it should be all good. And the infinite-scroll is working to some degree, because I’m getting the “no more posts to display” message.

On the new infinite scroll thing that comes built in with new themes it says Infinite scroll doesn’t work with archive pages. Is this the case with this plugin? Are they the same thing?
