Whoever believed the infinite scroll would make viewing the log faster was DEAD WRONG. Instead of being able to click back several paged pages to get to a certain date or time frame, I have to scroll – wait for it to load more entries – scroll again, and continue doing this until the appropriate date loads into frame. As you can imagine, this take a lot longer than the standard WordPress navigation. We either need the option to disable infinite scroll and go back to normal WordPress navigation or we are going to look for a new plugin and change out, not only my 2 personal sites from using this plugin, but all 147 client sites that I manage.

    Hello @marcus_monroe,

Thank you for reaching out and for using our plugin.

I am sorry to hear that you find the infinite scroll inconvenient. You can always switch back to pagination view mode or use the Search and Filters feature to filter the events and find what you need straight away.

We have done this change because it makes the access and viewing of data much faster and requires much less resources. For example, on an activity log with 1M+ events, it takes the plugin more than 20 seconds to retrieve the activity log when using pagination, and it takes less than 3 seconds when using the infinite scroll.

As such this was a technical change (performance) however we still left the option to switch back to pagination view mode for whoever wants.

I hope the above helps. Should you have any further queries do not hesitate to reach out.

    Have a great weekend!
