Support » Plugin: Open Graph and Twitter Card Tags » Inferred Property – Missing Properties Problem

  • Resolved sabitkamera

Hi, first of all thank you for this great free plugin. Even now i’m having issue with plugin right now, it is still the best open graph plugin in repository.

I’ve posted something new but Facebook doesn’t recognize the featured image. What are the steps should i follow to fix it?

    Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

    Here is the link:

    Thank you.

I have the same problem. Featured image is not recognize (Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags)

I tried to share your post, it worked. Did you fix your problem ?

@reventlov I have fixed my problem. My problem was about Litespeed Cache plugin, I’ve disabled “HTML Minify”, and contacted with plugin developer. They’ll fix it in next release.

I am not sure what is your problem but did you try debugger? And which error comes?

    Thanks for your answer @sabitkamera.
I use W3TC, I disable minify and purge the cache but the problem persists.

I used the facebook debugger tool. My source code displays og meta but when I share my post on facebook, those tags are missing according to fb debugger tool…
So, the shared post displays only a title and sometimes a description. The featured image is not displayed.

EDIT : I think that Facebook need few minutes to update… It works 🙂

Thank you @sabitkamera for your help and your tip about minimy.

I am happy that you’ve sold your problem but turning off all minifying settings isn’t a proper solution. I suggest you turn off every option (like minify css, combine css) one by one. And see which one causes the problem.

When you use Facebook Sharing Debugger, try to click “Scrape Again” several times.
