# Ineffective Tags

 * I’m fairly new to all of this. I paid a company to make my site, it looks awesome
   but the articles nor the website are being found by google. It’s been up for 
   a little more than 2 weeks.
 * I’ve wrote about 20 articles and for some reason none of them can be found by
   doing a google search. I was hoping people searching google would see my articles
   when sorted by date, but as of right now nothing.
 * Along with this for 1 day the adsense counter worked, now it shows 0’s for visitors
   even though I know for a fact people have visited the site.
 * Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my materials to be found by google?

 * There are lots of factors that affect your site’s ranking in the search engines.
 * I think for starters, waiting 2 weeks might be a bit ambitious and that could
   depend on what you are searching for.
 * It is also the case that the way a site is built has an impact of SEO but that
   might be something to take up with whoever built it. Just ask them about it.
 * You should be able to get a pretty good idea from reading a bit about this and
   there is [heaps of stuff](http://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/) available.
