Individual header image of parent pages automatically also for child pages

    Hi there,

    Currently, I have been preparing my first website with the Baskerville theme and Unique Headers plugin https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/unique-headers/ with numerous child pages listed in masonry style on the parent pages.

    Could you please help me how to add the header image of each parent page also to all the corresponding child pages automatically?

    Hi @sbstnbecker,

    You’d need to a function like get_ancestors() to retrieve the parent page of the current page, but that’s a bit beyond the scope of this support forum. There’s probably a Stack Overflow thread with a solution similar to what you’re looking for, though.
