    Hi
I am using woocommerce plugin with storefront theme. For last few days Indian Rupee Symbol ‘₹’ is replace by ‘Rs.’. I wish to restore it to ‘₹’ . Please help.
    Thanks a lot

    Hi there @manujks,

This is interesting, I do see that would be the correct symbol coming from WooCommerce out of the box:

What do you see in WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency?

Did you install/update new plugins/your theme recently?

    Hi Elvira
    Thanks for the reply.
Earlier it was showing exactly the same as u depicted in the pic.
But now it is showing Indian rupee (Rs.)
Only update happened, is done by wordpress automatically to the version 5.2.4

Howdy! Your site at https://www.vanajaorganics.com has been updated automatically to WordPress 5.2.4.
    thanks

Interesting! My website where I made the screenshot above is on WP 5.2.4, so I don’t think that may be related.

Does the issue persist with only WooCommerce plugin active and Storefront as your theme? Something can be overriding the symbol on your site.

You can also try the following workaround – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/change-a-currency-symbol/

    Hope it helps!

    Hi there @manujks,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
