index.php not there!

  • I was updating my site last night (www.mattrutherford.com) and experienced an error message – I tracked it down here (Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_bloginfo() <snipped path>wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 304.) , and it pointed to a SQL server outage.

So immediately afterwards I refreshed – and my website was back.

Today – I have no website, I am not sure that these are related – but I cannot understanding why my website appears down, and index.php is not there.

  • I can’t ping your site consistently – have you emailed your host ?

I get the train home from work – and my site is up again…very strange. Even though I could view pages ‘behind’ my index, I couldn’t get my wordpress files to display. Hey Ho – off to write an email to my ISP.
