# Index.php Location

 * Tried to delete old files from host and move index.php from /wordpress directory
   to root with filezilla. Successful but could not modify text within Index.php
   so decided to move it back to /wordpress directory. After this the explorer only
   brings up directory listings with nothing else. Edit date of Index remains unchanged
   but something else has happened that does not permit the web to work. Any info
   would help.
