I was told to re-load the MYSQL database and re-load it and that should re-create the index.php file…. it does not. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. I did however delete all the files and directories except the two you mentioned above. I also uploaded in the theme directory all my themes from my original backup. * **When trying to access the url I get the message:** * here doesn’t seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started. * Need more help? We got it. * You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn’t work for all server setups. That was one of the ones I specifically said not to delete. * You can create a new one using the wp-config-sample.php file in a fresh WordPress download as a template. If so it only shows the file size of 4kb.
