I have used other php based sites before and have been able to have an index.html page resolve when people first show up and then have them sign up to go through the page to get to index.php and run from there.
Is there any way to do this with WP? I basically am just trying to have a squeeze page built with html that only shows up once and then they go to the WP site. I do not want to put WP in a sub-directory.
And while we are at it, when they hit home, it will resolve back to index.php and not index.html.
I am thinking that this may be a tall order for WP but I know there are some smart people out there and logically one should be able to pull it off.
