Hello @jdphoenix
Thanks for reahcing out. By default, a login page is set to noindex
so it can’t be indexed. Please share a screenshot of the relevant screen in Google Search Console.
You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

Hey @jdphoenix ,
I’m not sure how those URLs could have been found or indexed, as when I check the URL in your opening post, I see a noindex( on them as I would expect. Are you linking to this URL somewhere in your site that made Google aware of the URL by any chance?
If not, I’m not sure how they got picked up, you could try to get rid of those URLs through their removal tools, more info here: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/11080680?hl=en
Hi,
Thanks so much for the reply. I ran a “search” query in the MySQL database for a few of these and nothing shows up. I have also ran a “search” in my files with the same result. We use WP Rocket. Do you think this could be an issue related to the caching plugin?
Hello @jdphoenix
I doubt it has anything to do with your caching plugin. Though it’s unclear how those login URLs got indexed, it’s definitely not via your sitemap as they’re not listed there; there’s also noindex
tag. You should see the referring page if you click on the URL in Google Search Console.

Hi Maybellyne,
Thanks for your reply. The URL redirects to my admin page. Would this cause a problem? After I login, it goes to the post. Appreciate any suggestions.

Hello @jdphoenix.
The URL removal tool is to remove the URL from the index not from your website. It shouldn’t have an impact on you logging in or editing the post.
Hi Maybellyne,
Great. I will do that. Thank you for your feedback on this. Greatly appreciate it.
