Index page shows files instead of wordpress site

I have installed WP in a remote hosting account (webhostinghub.com) in a directory called blog. Everything went smoothly, and I was able to login to WP and post to the blog. Next I installed a theme, which seemed to work fine; it is listed as the “current theme” on the dashboard. However, when I goto the site, the index page now only shows the list of files instead of my WP site.

I read through a few posts of people having the same problem, and several mention installing WP inside of WP as the problem. However, the directory structure does not look like that is the case for my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok I’m going to answer my own technical problem lol. As it turns out, something must have gone wrong during my installation. There was no .htaccess file in the directory. Since I used remote hosting, and they have a link to install WP through their dashboard, I’m wondering if this is a random glitch. Would like to know if anyone has seen this before…
