  • My root page went blank for some strange reason..

Although when I go to Manage and click “view” to some random post, the page all shows up.

    What’s up with this?

  • Hmmm… your page has changed since the last time I checked the message. Which version have you installed? Your post goes under “Installation”, but do you install from scratch or do you upgrade? Did you try re-installing? Did you make sure that all files were uploaded, strictly overwriting old files, if any? Try to give as many details as possible because the page says very little on its state, from a technical point-of-view at least.

    I tried upgrading – didn’t work.

I tried re-installing everything (overwriting everything) except for the config.php and the wp-content. The page is still blank. The version currently is the most recent. I thought it had something to do with the main template but it isn’t. There is coding that I put in, but for some reason it won’t show up in the browser.

It changed when I was putting the comment plug code into a table and then my page disappeared. 😐 And I really don’t want to re-install wordpress..and configure it all for the 5th time.

    Try changing the theme ?

There was re-installation from scratch, so I assume no theme but the default one.

However, now that I re-check carefully, the OP said “I tried re-installing everything (overwriting everything) except for the config.php and the wp-content.”, so I guess you got it right. It must be the comment plug-in if I follow you… try stripping bits of wp-content one by one if you loathe the idea of rebuilding *everything*.

I suppose I can re-install it fully, but I really don’t want to lose my posts, pages, and current theme.

Do you know how I can save those?

Can you remove that error page so we can see the blog ? It’ll help us.
    that works.

You have a heap of extra – and wrong – content in that you have two <head> sections. That will confuse browsers.

Swicth to the Classic theme – does it look okay then ? If yes, your theme is screwing it up. if no, then it’s something else in another file you may have modified.

My 2 headers have always been there.

I switched to the classic theme, yes, it worked perfectly fine. But I can’t figure out why it’s still blanking…

    Two headers is not good.
The logical thing to do is check for errors:
63 errors and while some are trivial (such as a missing / from a tag) others will definitely cause problems (such as unclosed divs). That’s the place to start..

I have fixed the issue. Thank you, podz, for your wonderful help 🙂
