    So my website

https://2day.news/ is getting the error ‘index of’
while viewing certain pages I create..

Everything is installed by using Softaculous App installer.

Removed the WP directory installation and url is HTTPS not HTTP (lets encrypt SSL)

This link in particular won’t work
    https://2day.news/telegraaf/

some of the other pages I’ve created had the same problem but I’ve deleted those for the time being..

I haven’t messed up with the installed files as every time I try mess in the index.php or .htaccess files I get error 403. So until someone tell me what to change there to get it to work I will not be going there.

Try re-saving your permalink structure at Settings/Permalinks in your admin panel. If WordPress cannot automatically edit the .htaccess file, it will provide manual instructions after saving.

    Hi, that worked !
But I don’t really want to use %plain% I had been using %postname% which I found was better for the site users to identify the page they’re on..

Is there a way to get it fixed that way?

If not I will try using this way but it really isn’t suited for my goal for this site.

Try re-saving it with the Post Name structure again. If that continues to fail, contact your hosting provider and ask them to make sure that mod_rewrite is installed and functioning on your server.
