Index issue, sitemap error, mobile friendly test problem

I’m trying to list my website on the Google Search console, but when I submit a URL, I get the error:
Indexing request rejected
During live testing, indexing issues were detected with the URL

Submitting sitemaps give this error:
Sitemap could not be read / Couldnt fetch
General HTTP error

And in Google’s mobile-friendly test, the website gets the error:
Page cannot be reached
This could be because the page is unavailable or blocked by robots.txt

Perfectly worrying.
I’ve checked the robots.txt file and I can’t see anything wrong with it, and the website gets indexed by Bing just fine.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

Your robots.txt file looks OK:
```
Sitemap: https://nambanation.com/sitemap_index.xml

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
```
I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

@soberbanda that is one of hundreds topic I’ve read actually, I have been everywhere else to find solution 🥲 a lot of people having same issue but different ways to fix it, very odd.. thanks btw

@sterndata will do, but I still think it’s not on Plugin issue. Thanks

I went to robots.txt tester on the old Search Console but I cannot edit the column, the test button didn’t appears. And I couldnt even paste anything to it.
