# index file problem

 * Hi,
 * I am brand new to WP, and am just getting it set up. I have FTP’d it to my web
   host, and installed it, and can access my dashboard, publish posts etc. However,
   when you visit the website, ([http://www.thephonelounge.com](http://www.thephonelounge.com)),
   it is just a placeholder page. How do I get it to show the blog that I have created?

 * just do that – delete the host’s default index.htm and the wordpress index.php
   will take over
