Okay guys I’ve done something really stupid.
Some how I’ve gone in and deleted, or modified, two pages of wordpress that I wasn’t supposed to touch. I accidentally did this when I was updating my blog for CSS- and put it in the wrong file.
You see, the name of my blog is words. So the file name is words. You go into that and it has all the files such as wp-includes.php, wp-mail.php, wp-pass.php etc etc.
I’ve either deleted, or modified two pages. First is the index page. I know it’s the index page because I pasted in the CSS version, then went in and pressed “delete”. Now the darned blog won’t come up at all, and I can’t find anywhere the right index file to replace it with that I shouldn’t have touched in the first place.
The second one is the front page of my dashboard. This happened a while ago and I didn’t know what the issue was until now when it resembles the same issue for the index.html page.
Does anyone know where I can get the original files so that I can put them back in my FTP?? I’ve looked all over this website and can’t find any of them. I’d really appreciate any help! Thanks!
