Hey @the_webscaper,
sorry for the issue. What you describe is no normal behaviour and sounds like other plugins or your theme overriding Gutenslider styles and/or scripts.
Please try disabling all other plugins and see if the error goes away. If yes, please try enabling the plugins one by one to see which causes the error – please tell us about your findings.
If the error does not go away. Tell us which WordPress / php / Gutenslider version you are on so we can look deeper.

Also, we checked the site and it looks good here. Which browser are you using?
Sorry for the delay in responding. I never got any email notices that you replied – even though I checked the box for “notify me of follow up replies.”
There is only one Gutenslider on the site, it’s on the home page. I’m using Chrome as browser. Version of WordPress: 5.8. PHP version: 7.4.21. Gutenslider version: 5.1.4.
I disabled every single plugin – the issue still persists.
I’m using Genesis, with Mai theme.
This is still what it looks like when I edit the home page (the page the Gutenslider is on). http://prntscr.com/1jaqweq
Yes, the slider looks great on the front end, but the issue is I can’t edit it easily – and I’m less than a week from turning the site over to the client, and she will NOT be able to edit it. As it is now I have to click all over the place to grab the elements if I need to edit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need a login to the back end, let me know how to send you the login info.

@the_webscaper how is it going with the suggested fixes?
Appreciate you following up!
So far, no luck. Making the changes (either removing the CSS or adding the suggested alternate) in dev tools doesn’t change the display at all. Tried adding to the stylesheet and also didn’t have any effect. I’m currently talking with the theme developer to see if they have any insight (shared your findings with them) and they’re also looking into it. Really appreciate the very attentive support you (and the theme developer) are trying to provide. My big issue now is a race against time. The client wants the site to go live, but I can’t release it to her with the slider un-editable.
I’ll reply to your support email if/when we figure out what can be done. Again, super appreciate your help. Assuming we can get this fixed and I don’t have to find a different slider plugin, I’ll be happy to purchase Pro!
@the_webscaper any updates on this or can i close?
