Increasing the height of the header image

  • Simply, I have been trying for a long time, playing with the codes and the CSS attributes in order to increase the header image (which shows a group of men) in this website, but to no avail.

    Theme is Fenome, by Web2Feel (Jinsona), I have contacted him in this regard but seems he is too busy to answe.

    Thank you in advance

    Btw, I’d be glad if you give me some feedback on the website, the design, and its functionality..

    style.css:

    #top {
        background-image: url("images/header.gif");
        height: 85px;
        margin: 0 auto;
        position: relative;
        width: 1000px;
    }

    Thank you, but this is the same code I currently have :S

    Did you mean to say that I have to change that 85px into what I want?
    I already tried that, the header image indeed expands, but it goes behind the featured post area (the slider), and the pages Menu is pushed downwards under the header image, so it no longer appears !

    Something beside the height must be changed, but dont know what and to what value.

    Yes. You’ll also have to amend:

    #ftop {
        height: 125px;
    }

    I’d recommend using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

    Thanx again. Yes ive tried that already. The problem is that, when I increase the hight of #top and #ftop , theey expand downside, but the featured post area does not expand accordingly (namely it does not move downwards to suit the changes.. that is why the pages bar shows inside that featured area instead of above it, like it should be. I wish I made it clear aenough :S

    btw I AM using FireBug

    I wish there is an answer to this

    still seeking an answer
