[resolved] Increasing font size for numbers in ordered lists (5 posts)

    I have been searching the net for descriptions on how to increase the font size on only the numbers in my ordered list. I have tried to make different changes in my style.css document, but none of them seems to work.
    I have to admit that I am all new to coding, so I really need descriptions that explains everything :-)

    I have made mye theme with Artisteer, but there is now possibility in making these changes in Artisteer.

    This is what is in my style.css about "ol":

    header, footer, article, nav, #art-hmenu-bg, .art-sheet, .art-slidenavigator > a, .art-checkbox:before, .art-radiobutton:before
    display: block;
    -webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
    box-sizing: border-box;

    list-style-type: none;

    list-style-position: inside;

    But I am not sure if this is the right place to put in the code?
    Anyone how know how to solve this problem?

    Do you need this done globally (on whole site), or just a single post? css for font size is called font-size, to set it you should use font-size:16px; for example.

    on your case you need to set the ol li element size, as:

    ol li {

    However you need to make sure to please this css style to relevant page only, as this might change your list number size on the whole site (if its not the intention that is).

    Thank you very much for your reply!

    I would like to do this globally, on all of my pages.
    But where in my style.css do I insert the code you gave me?

    I have tried to insert the following code in my style.css:

    ol {
    padding-top: 200px;
    ol li {
    color: black;
    font-size: 35px;
    font-weight: bold;
    font-style: italic;
    margin-top: 5px;
    line-height: 1;

    ol li p {
    font-size: 11px;
    color: black;
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;
    line-height: 1.7em;

    This code is in a way working, but it is making all the fonts in the ordered list 35 px(both the numbers and the text) 35 px.

    Anyone who knows how to get around this?

    There's really no way to answer CSS questions without seeing a live site. In general, if the size is set in multiple places, you have to change it in multiple places.

    But you should really ask Artisteer about this as we don't know how their themes are coded.
