Increase width of Twenty Eleven Theme

    How do I go about increase the width of the Twenty Eleven theme? I have a one column theme. I’ve looked through all the support posts and taken the advice of many posters, yet I am still having issues.

    I’ve already created a child theme and been working within it, but it doesn’t seem to be making any changes to the page at all.
