Since upgrade to v 2.0.2 I’ve been seeing a LOT of HTTP 405 errors on the server side. For example:

    405 Method Not Allowed
    /wp-json/wp/v2/templates?_locale=user: 60 Time(s)
    /wp-json/wp/v2/blocks/3489?_locale=user: 13 Time(s)
    /wp-json/wp/v2/pages/298?_locale=user: 9 Time(s)
    /wp-json/wp/v2/block-directory/search?_locale=user: 4 Time(s)
    /wp-json/wp/v2/pages/322?_locale=user: 3 Time(s)
    /wp-json/wp/v2/pages/550?_locale=user: 3 Time(s)

When I review the IP address it happens to be mine. I was fixing pages broken from the release of 2.x most of the day yesterday.

    Any ideas?

    Hello @evit

The problem you’re describing is not yet on our list of “known issues.”

Could you please share more details about where you saw these 405 errors? More information on how we can replicate this will be really helpful.

    Hello @sujaypawar,

There is no error on the client (browser) end but I see them in my Nginx access logs. I do block some HTTP methods often used by malicious actors but this is the first I see of these errors with your plugin(s)/theme.

    TIA

    Thanks for the details @evit

We will see if we’re able to replicate it. Thank you for taking time to report this.
