    Yes, both should be possible with CSS. If you provide a link to one of your sites I can give you the code that will do it specifically for your case, then you can tweak the numbers to get the desired effect and replicate it on other sites.

    Try something like this:

    #fsml_ff {
        margin: 0 10px 0 0;
        max-width: 120px;
    }
    #fsml_ffmain {
        margin-top: 0;
        padding: 0;
    }

    The trick is that it needs max-width, not width, since the max width is in place to avoid accidentally massive icons on big screens (it will probably be removed in the future when I remove the fairly useless dynamic and custom width options). You will want some right margin still so that it isn’t right up against the edge of the screen, that’s what the 10px is for. The #fsml_ffmain part removes the inner padding, which typically displays the frame background color.

    You can put the code in the “Custom CSS” field in the design tab on the settings page.
