    Hi

I am the administrator of http://asr.ac and I am experiencing a few problems with how The Events Calendar handles timezones and DST.
We are the student council of a university college in Belgium, the timezone here is GMT+1.
However, because we are currently in DST, we are on UTC+2. This will change in a couple of weeks.

(Notice the difference: we’re always in GMT+1 but we’re in UTC+2 in the summer and in UTC+1 in the winter)

My WordPress is set to UTC+2 and handles the time correctly. (FYI: our server is located in the same timezone)
On the website, our events are displayed with correct start and end times.

The problems start appearing when visitors export our events to their calendars.

With setting ‘events use local timezones’:
    – Import to Google Calendar is how it should be
    – Import from iCal to Microsoft Calendar is showing events 1 hour too early
    – Importing the iCal-URL with all upcoming events as a subscription in Google Calendar is showing events 1 hour too early

With setting ‘events use sitewide timezone’:
    – Import to Google Calendar is showing events 2 hours too early
    – Haven’t tested other export options yet

Could you please verify this and fix this bug ASAP? What will happen when we move to UTC+1 in a couple of weeks when DST ends?
    Thanks in advance!

    Sam
