I am running Mail Bank 3.0.31. I have set it up to use office 365 service, the configured smtp server is SMTP.office365.com, but when I do a test mail the app tries to use the SMTP server of the site host.

I have noted the last line, but as the app is trying to authenticate to the host SMTP server I am not sure if it is valid.

The log is below, please assist.

    535 Incorrect authentication data

Your Web Host provider may have installed a firewall between you and the server.
Contact the admin of the server and ask if they allow outgoing communication on port 25,465,587.
It seems like they are blocking certain traffic. Ask them to open the ports.

    Hi,

When you configure SMTP Server, it will use the local one to connect/test to your Host Server i.e Office365 in your case to send emails.

Make sure that you have From Email and Email Address fields in both steps of Mail Bank same while configuring Office365 account.

If they are different, it will give you Incorrect Authentication Data error.

Also, if the problem still persists, contact your your Web Host.

Your provider may have installed a firewall between you and the server.

Contact the admin of the server and ask if they allow outgoing communication on port 25,465,587.

    Thanks

I am having the same issue (sent screenshots to support@). Have checked with server and there is no firewall blocking. Have uninstalled and reinstalled plugin. The sent from in step 1 and email address fields match.
Have send screenshots and log to your support.
Thanks in advance for any help.
