    Hello,
we are using the Automated Tax Calculation from Woocommerce Services and my Accounting company realized 2 things:

    1) Sales Tax is not being calculated over Shipping costs
    Ex: Products = $53.2 / Shipping = $9.68 / Sales Tax calculated = $3.72 / Total charged from the client = $ 66.60 / Sales Tax rate for this city is 7%
The 7% was calculated only over the $53.2 in products and it should be including the $9.68 of shipping, but it isn’t.

    2) One specific order had a wrong Sales Tax rate.
Ex: Order for the city of Winter Garden (FL) where sales tax rate should be 6.5%
Products = $11.17 / Shipping = $0 / Sales tax calculated was $ 0.73, which is 7% over the amount for products (it should be 6.5% according to the IRS table)

How can I fix both issues in our e-commerce?
    Thank you!

    Hi @jorgebotrel,

Could you let us know which shipping method you’re using on your site would that be the USPS or DHL methods which are included within WooCommerce Shipping & Tax or are you using a third party shipping method, thanks.

Looking at my test site today when I added a product with a cost of $11.17 and free shipping the tax calculated for that product was $0.73 which is 6.5% of $11.17.

Checking the tax rates for Winter Garden, Florida on a site called Avalara this equates to a 6% tax rate for Florida and a 0.5% tax rate for Orange totalling 6.5%. Below is a screenshot of this independent services tax calculation along with a link to that tax validation service.
