So I’m having somewhat of a problem. I recently updated my wordpress theme to use elementor. My header logo changed because of this inside of Elementor not wordpress customization area. I have also set the logo I want to use for the pdf invoices and packing slips in the plugin itself but still it uses the incorrect image for the logo. It only started after updating my theme to the elementor theme.

Sorry I was incorrect on the problem. It’s displaying the correct image but cropping it into a square or hiding what ever is outside the area visible in the div tag

Hi! The logo that is used for the PDF is stored in the order data the first time you create the document. This means that if you have now changed the logo in the settings, it will still use the ‘old’ logo for existing orders. There is a setting to override this, under Documents > Invoice in the PDF invoice settings, “use most current settings”.
To decouple issues with changes to the logo used on the site (you wrote “visible in the div tag” which I assume refers to your site), I recommend uploading a separate logo file for use in the PDF, that way you can probably circumvent the cropping issue altogether.

Let us know if you need more help with this!

Did you read the second post or the first. I stated in the first i did not change the image in the settings. Secondly i stated in the second post that the image is not displaying properly in the pdf as it being cropped in the pdf but when output to html it works fine.

I read both, you mentioned Elementor and a div in the first post, so I hypothesized that the image cropping as per your addition in the second post) had been cropped by elementor, keeping the internal reference the same thus resulting in a different image in the PDF. That could be an explanation for why the image looked different in the PDF.

In your second post you only mentioned cropping to a square and a div. The default output of this plugin is not in a div. Again an assumption from my end, but I thought that perhaps you were confusing the logo on your site with the logo in the PDF. Is this perhaps a custom template where you added this div?

Regardless, it does sound like Elementor is doing something to the output of the logo (cropping), so I think my suggestion to upload a separate logo to use for the PDF would prevent this issue. Note that for the PDF file, the plugin reads a file directly from your server whereas the HTML preview reads the file from your site (with a URL). Usually this is identical, but if the theme or a plugin is modifying the output or content of one of them, this can create a discrepancy.

Let us know if uploading a separate logo resolves the issue!

Sweet that fixed it. Just reuploaded it a second time under a different name specifically for the invoice and all is looking good. Thank you for your help. Sorry if my initial requests were vague I should have been more organized with my initial requests. Thank you for your time.
