110 USD is the Cart Total? And what is 10 USD?

Yes exactly. the fees should be calculated on what is paid using the paiement option, NOT on the order total.
the values 110 and 10 are just a theoretical example to explain the problem. You can see the a real calculations in the screenshot.

You’re right. The fees shouldn’t be calculated on total order amount. It should be calculated on amount payable.
Let me forward this to our team so that they will work on this and give an option to calculate fees on the amount which needs to be paid.

When using a $100 GIFT CARD to reduce $100 balance in CHECKOUT PAGE, the original fee still applies which they have to settle by credit card?
This does not happen if the customer manages to apply GIFT CARD in the CART originally, but once any fee has been added at any time, even if customer amends cart, removes and adds products etc, the CART will always show the fee on total product amount going forward.

No, the topic has been set to “solved”, but the problem hasn’t been addressed. I just tested again with the latest version (2.6.4), same problem happens (and no specific option to calculate fees on the payable amount appears in the admin)
It’s a shame… Let me know if you find another plugin that solves this problem, even if it’s a paid one.

Hi All,
With the latest version I tested and with the WooCommerce Coupon code, the Payment Gateway Fees are getting applied to the payable amount.
My setup is:
Coupon Code Fixed Amount: $5
COD fees: 10%
Result is:
Item total: $10
After coupon Applied: $5
Fees: 0.50 $
Order Total: 5.50 $

I think this is the thread that best fits my situation. Very similar to applying the coupon amount first, then charging the fees, we are using TeraWallet plugin. This is for a school booster club so we use the wallet to put any monies earned for fundraising etc into specific student “user” accounts.
When the parent or whomever logs into that account and wants to pay for fees or a tshirt and has money in their wallet to pay for it, it will generate the 3.5% “credit card transaction fee” we have put into place on the total BEFORE the wallet can be applied.
So, for instance:
Product 1 = $50
Product 2 = $25
Subtotal = $75
“Credit Card Processing” = $2.63
Via Wallet = $61.00 (total of what is in wallet)
Total = $16.63
I don’t know how to deduct the “wallet” amount first off of the subtotal and then have the balance of $14 and THEN the 3.5% “Credit card processing fee” of $.49 so the total would be $14.49 NOT $16.63.
This may seem small using these numbers but we have student fees and payments that could be thousands and so the fees would be charged on the subtotal and not after their wallet credit was applied.
PS- I have tried setting up the products as both apply to product only and also apply to cart. My current settings are set globally but also checked to use at product level.
