Hi @der-bank-blog. Sorry, I don’t understand that question. Can you explain in more detail, please?
Show existing terms are not the terms used in the article,
Correct, that’s what the “Manage Post Terms” tab does.
But it does not. I shows always the same terms
That’s why I opened the ticket.
When can I expect a solution on this bug?
@der-bank-blog Please don’t bump your own posts. Our support options are here and this is what it says for WordPress.org: “Use this option if you are not a member and do not need fast support. Questions may be answered within several days.” https://taxopress.com/contact-us/
You may want to try going to TaxoPress > Metaboxes > Show All Existing Terms and choosing a higher number than 45 for “Maximum terms”.
It seems that you still do not udnerstand the issue.
The point is not the number of tags. The point is, that alway the same tags were shown with a lot of tags which are not part of the article. It is a bug, not a wrong setting
“Show existing terms” is designed to show all the terms in the taxonomy.
It is not designed to show only the terms on the post.
Is this new? So far it does show only terms used within the article, which was much better
No, it’s not changed.
The terms attached to the article are in “Manage Post Terms”.
But before the last update it shows only tags which are inside the post, which was very good.
Now it shows a variaty of tags with no relation to the post, which is worse
I checked it our and rolled back to version 3.25. There it works the correct way. It changed with 3.26.
So please check and eliminate this bug with the next update
Thank you
I have exactly the same problem as @der-bank-blog.
After downgrading to version 3.25.1 the procedure works perfectly as it did before the upgrade. Clearly something has changed with the upgrade 3.26.0.
Can this issue be resolved?
This feature is now under the “Auto Terms” tab.
You can go to to the “Auto Terms” area and configure what appears there.
Thanks for the great support
