Incorrect Dates for Analytics Reports

    When using the Analytics area to generate a revenue report by day, the report is not accurate. When I look at May 6, for example, I see 59 transactions. But when I look at the May 6 transactions, many of those transactions show the transaction date, correctly, as May 5 (our payment processor also shows that those transactions that should be on the May 5 report, not on the May 6 report, were indeed processed on May 5).

    Hi @grantolson,

    Thanks for reaching out on this! Based on your description, it sounds like all transactions are showing in your Analytics reporting. Just the dates don’t match the days reported by your payment processor – is that correct?

    The first thing I would check here is relative timezones between your site / Analytics and your payment processor. If your payment processor is reporting transactions in a different timezone than your site, you might see day-to-day discrepancies between your site reports and their reports.

    However, if you’re seeing discrepancies between what is being reported on your site Dashboard as compared with the actual time/dates recorded on your orders in WooCommerce, that’s something we’d want to take a closer look at.

    If that’s the case, could you let us know what timezone your site is in and give us a few specific examples of what you’re seeing when you compare your orders and your dashboard reporting?
