# Incorrect comment author assigned

 * I’m Ruben, author of GamiPress and AutomatorWP
 * Some users using GamiPress and wpDiscuz together have found that comments that
   includes any mention are getting assigned to the mentioned user instead to the
   real commenter
 * This causes a lot inconsistency issues since plugins that wants to user the comment
   author in some way, are getting as comment author the mentioned user
 * GamiPress uses a standard WordPress hook to detect when a new comment is added
   and uses the assigned user ID as the author of this comment
 * So, could you fix this issue and set as comment author the user who wrotes it
   instead the mentioned users?

 * We’ve just checked one more time. There is no such issue on our test website.
   So please check your code one more time and make sure the integration is correct.

 * Awesome! Looks like the user who reported this issue was setup the achievement
   using a different event instead of the “Comment on a post”
 * Thank you so much for confirm that wpDiscuz is not the cause
