    Hi there,

I am getting the following error display on my posts that include a tablepress table –

“DataTables warning: table id=tablepress-6 – Incorrect column count. For more information about this error, please see https://datatables.net/tn/18”

I don’t understand how to resolve the error – I have read other posts with the same issue but I’m not sure how to resolve for my site. It seems to happen for tables where I am linking to an image from my media library for some images.

    Thanks,

    Rachel

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

When checking your page, I can’t seem to reproduce this? The table looks fine to me and I don’t get an error message.

Did you maybe already find the cause for this? My guess would be broken HTML code, e.g. due to missing quotation marks ".

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

I changed the image files related to this rows with the issue and it resolved the error. It wasn’t happy including images that I had included from my media library – I have now included an external url link for the image and it is fine. I don’t know why that would be the case – but the error is gone for now.

    Thanks, Rachel

    Hi Rachel,

Thanks for trying this! Yes, this confirms that something was wrong with the HTML code for the images then, coming from the media library.

Good to hear that the error is gone now! 🙂

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
